Who we are

Drumz Kool was created by Hassan Lotfi in Colchester, UK, in 2006. Since then it has been taking the joy of rhythm everywhere and for all sorts of reasons; from working with individuals of all ages, backgrounds and abilities, to preparing players to perform top quality shows at top quality venues including at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

Drumz Kool’s philosophy is to share with the world the love and joy that is inside all rhythm.

Hassan is a philosophy graduate. He is also an ex national, international, and world champion diver and coach. Hassan has always aimed high and believes he can show others to do the same through rhythm. He also has a unique experience on learning African culture, rhythms from travelling to Guinea on land from Gambia, through Senegal.

Drumz Kool regularly perform with the KoolFoxes.

What do we do

We perform and teach

We take our rhythms wherever there is a need for it: from schools to universities, from special needs organizations to performances at various festivals, from community groups to churches and anywhere and everywhere that require the joy of rhythm.

We are happy to organise programs that are tailor-made to any specific needs. We work with schools and universities, corporate organisations and community groups, private parties and official gatherings, etc.
